Last updated and effective: 21 August 2026 · Policy version: 1.2
This policy applies to Overpressure (the “Game”) as published on Google Play (Android) and the App Store (iOS). Where something applies to only one platform, the text says so.
1. Controller and contact
- Publisher: MEP TASARIM
- Address: Turgut Özal Mah. Akkent Twins Trade A/23, Yenimahalle/Ankara, Türkiye
- Email: info@meptasarim.com
- Web: https://www.meptasarim.com/
2. Account and game progress
The Game creates no account of its own, does not sign you in with email or social media, and keeps no cloud save of its own. Your best score and your settings are stored only in your device’s local app storage; they are never sent to our servers, cannot be transferred to another device, and cannot be restored by us.
Android only: the Settings sheet offers an optional Google Play Games Services row. If you tap it and sign in, your achievements and your best score are sent to Google Play Games Services and associated with your Google account; nothing is sent unless you sign in, and signing in is never required to play. You can manage that data from your Google Play Games Services account. The iOS version does not use Game Center and has no achievements or leaderboard.
Uninstalling the app or clearing its data permanently deletes this local record.
3. Data processed
3.1. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game shows one fixed banner at the bottom of the screen. When an ad is requested, Google may process your IP address, device and app information, ad interactions, consent state and the advertising identifier your device permits (the Advertising ID on Android). On iOS the advertising identifier (IDFA) is never requested and never used. Approximate location (city/country level) may be derived from the IP address. Ads are not personalised on any platform — see 3.3.
3.2. Ad consent (Google UMP)
Players in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown Google’s consent form before ads load. Your choice is stored on the device and passed with ad requests. You can change it at any time from the same screen.
3.3. Ads are never personalised
On both Android and iOS, every ad request is sent to Google flagged non-personalised. The ads you see are not chosen from your behaviour in other apps and websites; they are selected from context and approximate location only. The Game does not track you across apps.
On iOS this has one further consequence: your advertising identifier (IDFA) is never requested, so Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt is never shown.
On Android the consent screen still appears in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: that screen asks whether an ad may be shown at all, not whether it may be targeted — and the answer to the second is now no either way.
3.4. Purchase (“Remove ads”)
The Game offers one non-consumable purchase that removes the banner ad. Payment runs entirely inside the store’s own systems: Google Play Billing on Android, Apple StoreKit on iOS. We never see, receive or store your payment card details; the only thing that reaches the Game is whether the product has been bought on that account. That answer is asked of the store and cached on the device solely to hide the banner. The purchase is tied to your store account and is recovered with RESTORE.
3.5. What we do not use
The Game uses no analytics SDK (such as Firebase Analytics), no crash-reporting SDK, no third-party trackers beyond the ad network, and no location, camera, microphone, contacts or file access. The Game never asks you for free text, a name, an email address or a phone number, and never attaches such information to ad requests.
3.6. Support correspondence
If you email us, your address, your message and any attachments are processed solely to answer your request. Please do not send passwords, verification codes, payment card details or secret keys.
4. App permissions
| Permission | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Only to load the ad banner and the consent form. The game itself runs offline. |
VIBRATE | Haptic feedback on presses, merges and level-ups. Can be switched off in Settings. |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID | Access to the advertising identifier, used by Google for ad delivery and fraud prevention. |
The Game requests no location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, phone, SMS or storage permission.
The table above is Android. The iOS version asks for no permission at all — no location, no notifications, and no tracking prompt.
5. Purchases and real money
There is exactly one in-app purchase: “Remove ads”, a one-off, permanent purchase that removes the banner. There are no subscriptions, no virtual currency, no loot boxes and nothing else for sale; reward videos are always optional and stay available after the purchase. Payment is handled by Google Play or by Apple; we do not collect and cannot see your payment details. See 3.4.
6. Purposes and legal bases
Data is processed to run the Game, to serve and measure advertising, to prevent fraud, to apply your consent preferences and to answer support requests. Depending on the case, the legal basis is performance of a contract, legitimate interest, a legal obligation, or your consent.
7. Service providers and transfers
Google LLC and its affiliates provide Google AdMob (advertising), the Google User Messaging Platform (consent management), Google Play distribution, Play Billing and Play Games Services. Apple Inc. provides App Store distribution and StoreKit purchase processing for the iOS version. These providers may process data outside Türkiye under their own terms and privacy policies. See policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and apple.com/legal/privacy.
8. Retention
Local game data stays on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s data or uninstall the app. Advertising and consent records are retained under the publisher settings in Google’s services and that provider’s applicable retention rules. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the request and to meet legal obligations.
9. Your choices and deletion
- Where the consent form is offered, you can change your advertising consent at any time.
- On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Privacy → Ads. On iOS there is nothing to withdraw: ads are already non-personalised and your advertising identifier is never used.
- You can erase local game data with SETTINGS → Best score → RESET in the game, from Android’s app storage settings, or on iOS by deleting the app.
- For access, correction or deletion requests, write to info@meptasarim.com.

10. Children’s privacy
The Game is not directed to children and does not ask users for a name, email, phone number or date of birth. If a parent or guardian believes a child’s data has been processed, please contact info@meptasarim.com and we will delete it on request.
11. Security and changes
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied, but no system can guarantee absolute security. If the Game’s behaviour or legal requirements change, this policy is updated and the new date is shown on this page.
