Writing to us

You do not have to fill in a form. A sentence about what happened is enough. If something is broken rather than merely puzzling, these four lines save a round trip:

  • Device and system version — for example “iPhone 13, iOS 26.1” or “Galaxy S23, Android 15”.
  • Where you were — the menu, the middle of a hunt, the result screen.
  • What you expected and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.

Please do not send passwords, verification codes or payment details. We never ask for them, and there is nothing in this game to buy.

“I lost my times and my streak”

Your progress lives only on your device. The game has no account and no cloud save, so uninstalling the app, clearing its data, or — in the browser version — clearing that site’s data erases the record permanently. We cannot restore it, because we never had a copy. That is the same reason the game never asks you to sign up.

The one exception is Game Center on iOS and Play Games Services on Android: if you were signed in, your achievements and your best time are held by Apple or Google under your own account and will come back when you sign in again on a new device.

“The Hint button says no ad is available”

The Hint is a rewarded video, and sometimes there is no video to show — most often because the device is offline, or because the ad network has nothing to serve at that moment. The message is honest rather than a fault: nothing is broken and nothing is lost. Try again after a minute, or keep hunting without it.

If you declined advertising consent, the Hint becomes free instead of dead. That is deliberate: charging a price that cannot be paid would be worse than giving it away.

“Trophies or Best times does nothing”

Both screens belong to the platform, not to us. On iOS they open Game Center and on Android they open Play Games Services, and each needs you to be signed in to that service. If you are signed out, the button offers the sign-in sheet.

On iOS, if you dismiss that sheet once, iOS will not offer it again until you restart the app. That is the system’s behaviour and we cannot override it. Sign in from Settings → Game Center instead, then reopen the game.

“Why do I see ads, and why are they irrelevant?”

There is exactly one ad in the whole game: the rewarded video behind the Hint button, and it only ever plays because you tapped it. There is no banner, no ad between rounds and nothing to buy.

The ads are also never personalised. Every request is flagged non-personalised, and on iOS the game never asks for tracking permission at all — which is why the ads can seem generic. That costs us revenue and is a deliberate choice. The details are in the privacy policy.

“It runs slowly, or the phone gets warm”

Every round builds a small planet with tens of thousands of clovers on it, which is real work for the graphics chip. On older devices, closing other apps first helps most. If a round stutters consistently on a current device, tell us which device — that is a bug worth having.

“Take my name off the leaderboard”

The board on meptasarim.com/four-leaf/ is browser-only; the iOS and Android apps do not use it. Entries are posted only when you press the button, under a nickname the game generates — you are never asked to type a name.

To have an entry removed, write to info@meptasarim.com with the nickname and the date it was set. Boards are in any case deleted within 30 days.
